Development on Physint by Hideo Kojima is still in its early stages. The project is currently in what Kojima calls the “conceptual phase.” He’s crafting ideas, writing, and shaping the world by himself. Full production won’t begin until his current project, Death Stranding 2, is finished.
Kojima has estimated that Physint could be five or six years away. That means a release date sometime around 2030 is possible. It may feel far off, but big ideas take time. Especially when Kojima is at the helm.
Who’s Involved in Physint?
Some details about the team and cast are already out. The early artwork shows a mix of real-world actors and stylized visuals. Names like Don Lee, Charlee Fraser, and Minami Hamabe have been mentioned. As with Death Stranding, expect a mix of motion capture, voice acting, and cinematic performances.
Sony is backing the game, just as it did with Death Stranding. This likely means it will release on PlayStation first. A PC version may come later.
