Rick & Michonne Enter The Fog
Dead by Daylight – DBD The Walking Dead welcomes two legendary survivors—Rick Grimes and Michonne. The crossover with The Walking Dead is now official. Fans can finally see their favorite post-apocalyptic fighters in a new horror realm.
Rick and Michonne bring unique perks, fresh tactics, and strong personalities. This marks one of the most iconic survivor additions yet. Their presence is a bold move for Behaviour Interactive.
They aren’t just skins. They come with tailored abilities, lore-friendly design, and even new map visuals inspired by The Walking Dead.
From Atlanta to The Fog: A Story Rewritten
The new chapter feels like a direct link from The Walking Dead’s Atlanta to Dead by Daylight’s Fog. Rick arrives with three perks that suit a tactical playstyle. His Apocalyptic Ingenuity allows pallet recycling. Come and Get Me! helps him cover for teammates. Teamwork: Toughen Up rewards skilled rescues.
Michonne’s perks are equally fierce. Conviction gives self-revive power. Last Stand stuns the killer during close escapes. Throw Down provides protection boosts for others during clutch moments.
Their perks show trust, courage, and sacrifice—just like their characters in the original series. These abilities offer new strategies for team-based survivors.
Survivors Bring the Prison and the Past
When either Rick or Michonne is selected, Garden of Joy transforms. Famous map tiles appear—like the prison yard and the “Don’t Open, Dead Inside” doors. These touches link The Walking Dead directly to Dead by Daylight’s eerie world.
Fans also get a Legendary Daryl Dixon outfit, complete with Norman Reedus’s voice. This lets players relive Daryl’s grit without a full new character.
The crossover respects source material while fitting into DBD’s lore. The trial becomes a place where past survival meets present horror.
Fog Thickens on July 29
The chapter is already in the Public Test Build. Players can try Rick’s perks now. Michonne joins with the full version—launching July 29, 2025.
The PTB gives early access to maps, perks, and visuals. This helps Behaviour fine-tune balance and polish.
The arrival of Rick and Michonne marks one of DBD’s biggest crossovers. It blends emotional survival, team mechanics, and deadly killers.
A New Fight Begins
From Atlanta’s undead streets to the Entity’s Fog, Rick and Michonne now fight a new kind of evil. They bring courage, leadership, and strength to the trials.
This crossover honors their story and gives Dead by Daylight fresh energy. It’s more than just fan service. It’s smart, powerful, and thrilling.
As July 29 nears, survivors better prepare. Because Rick and Michonne aren’t just entering The Fog—they’re rewriting how we survive in it.
